SAND RUBIES hervorragende CDs abgeliefert hatte, die heute regelrechten Kultstatus besitzen. Rich Hopkins war Mitbegründer des sogenannten „Desert Rock“-Sounds, den neben ihm vor allem GIANT SAND populär gemacht haben, die aus der gleichen Gegend kommen. Rich beschreibt seine Songs als eine Mischung aus „cowboy songs and powerhouse desert rockers“.


Fourth album of RICH HOPKINS & LUMINARIOS after he had released Personality Crisis, Dirt Town and Dumpster of Love. In the late 80's he had released critically acclaimed records by the SIDEWINDERS and SAND RUBIES. Rich co-founded the so-called "Desert Rock" which became very popular with bands like GIANT SAND. Rich describes his songs like "a bend of cowboy songs and powerhouse desert rockers."
